The novel aims to highlight the author's vision of the world around him at a given moment, where the characters are united in a fabric in which homogeneity is assumed.

The style of AMIN AL-ZAWAWI in his last novel (leg above the leg) falls into the dramatic style, where the rhythm of the voices controls to different levels.

لإhis novel summarizes the childhood memories of the writer, who entrusted the power of reporting to the main narrator, in which he tried to raise issues that the mind struggles with society and the tradition with morals, relying on a dramatic paradoxes and the multiplicity of voices.

The study also aims to detect and reveal the appearances of (the ego) in the novel's events that the author has described and the relationships represented by (the ego) with these multiple voices.
