Sufi discourse is part of the Islamic heritage, and it is one of the finest and deepest types of speeches and the most meaningful and strongest of them.

any discourse, and in particular, the Sufi discourse needs to be studied and analyzed whether this study is critical, linguistic, and for this purpos, we wanted through this research paper to analyze one of the most important Sufi discourses linguistically, by studying some linguistic phenomena a such as referrals and intertextuality.

the aim of this research henceforth is to clarify that the Sufi discourse is a linguistic discourse with distinction that could be studied in levantia, and also to clarify the role of both assignment and intertextuality in understanding the texts relying on the ruling for ibn Ata Allah of Alexandria as the tool for this research.
