Believing in the cognitive integration between different sciences, a set of studies, known as interstitial sciences, has emerged to investigate the common boundaries between two or more sciences.

the present paper accordingly attempts to investigate the boundaries shared between phonology and structural stylism, through defining the phonemes using the stylistic analysis that was introduced by Mohamed Hadi Trabelsi for Shawkiyat in his book entitled: characteristics of the style in Shawqiyyat.
