Abstract EN

The research seeks to shed light on the beginnings of historical writing in Andalusia, And trying to capture the factors contributing to the emergence of Andalusia's historical thought by linking it with its general Islamic environment, And the role of the Islamic East and its historians in this regard within the general influences on the scientific and intellectual levels that were transferred to Andalusia through Andalusian scientific journeys to the Islamic East, As these journeys to the Islamic East contributed to the entry of historical literature as well as other sciences, The Andalusians also carried with them the approaches of historical oriental writing and methods of collecting the oral narration and the news that was transmitted by newsmen and narrators in Andalusia, We also discussed in this research the stages that historical knowledge in Andalusia went through until the end of the Umayyad era and its transition from the oral narration to writing.
