Abstract EN

This study aimed at the impact of fiscal policy instruments on Algeria's gross domestic product (GDP) during the period 1997-2017, through the process of economic, statistical and econometric analysis.

after taking an overview of a range of concepts about fiscal policy, its objectives and its most important tools, as well as the concept of GDP and the most important methods of its calculation, the applied study to analyze the impact between the instruments of fiscal policy (public revenue, public expenditure) and the domestic product total through statistical, economic and standard analysis, the results showed that the increase in public revenue at the rate of one unit resulted in an increase in gross domestic product (GDP) of 0.93, which is consistent with the assumptions of economic theory, and the expansion of public expenditure by one unit leads to the increase in GDP equals 1.52 value and this is not consistent with the operative theory of economics.
