Our current era is characterized by great scientific and practical developments in different knowledge fields.

Specially, the adolescents face this great development that human society exposes to and the quick change in referential criteria and concepts of its individuals as contradictions.

It is difficult to face such contradictions, and this may lead to many social and psychological problems and diseases.

The contemporary youths of university are considered confused attitude to transit from adolescents group into adults group.

It is a sudden change and turning point towards necessary independence of normal growth in the stage of adulthood.

This period is often accompanied by emotional changes that accompanied by anxiety, tension and annoyance against authority of family, school and society.

At the same time, sexual motives may appear strong and urgent and may evoke guilt feeling.

So, the youths often face continuous tension and pressures that make them persons who need severely psychological care.

Remorse feeling is strongly related with individual's senses, feelings and passions.

Also, it is clearly related with guilt feeling, which is the product of psychological constructing of personality.

Subsequently, the interaction of these psychological aspects creates a construction whose features may appear through the traits of their personalities.

This research aims at answering the following questions: 1- situational remorse among the students of TIKRIT University1- Is there any statistical correlation between the situational remorse and some personality traits according to the following variables: (sex, school grade (first – forth), specialization (scientific – literary).

A class random sample was chosen.

This sample included (100) students female-students] of first and forth classes for the year( 2015-2016) distributed upon sixe colleges in Tikrit University.

The researcher has adopted two tools: situational remorse scale (prepared by Al-Ansari, 2001.

The traits that agree with the research requirements were selected.

Face validity of the two scales was checked, by presenting these scales to some experts.

Also, reliability of situational remorse scale has been found out by using -Cronbach method.

It was amounted to (0.65).

Constructvalidity of scale has been found out by finding out a correlation between the degree of each item and the total degree.

All of them were statistical at level (0.05).

Internal validity of personality trait scale has been found by recognizing its items.

After applying this research upon the sample of the second class, data have been collected and statistically treated by using T-Test, Person Correlation Coefficient, Z-Test and factor analysis.

Results showed the following: - The students of university of two sexes have a high level of situational remorse.

- It was obvious that the situational remorse is closely related to trait of guilt and total personality traits.

Also, - It was obvious that there are significant differences between the two classes (first-forth) in favor of forth class with regard to (trait of guilt).

- There are statistical differences of specialization variable (scientific – literary) with regard to (trait of shyness and consciousness) in favor of literary specialization.

universities and colleges and the role of psychological service in separating the extreme cases of remorse and guilt and how to treat and observe such cases.

Additionally, the researcher confirmed spreading awareness inside the family by following correct educational ways in upbringing children and avoiding ways of Criticism and frightening, and scolding that may lead to expand the feelings of guilt and remorse in respect of children.
