The current research aims to identify personality patterns according to a model of Rice among middle school students, in addition to know the significance of differences in personality patterns according to model according to sex variable (males, females(scientific, literary), The research has specified in Rusafa/2 / morning study of both sexes, for some areas of eastern Baghdad for the academic year 2016 /2017.

The two researchers have adopted the Rice scale, which consists of (82) paragraph distributed over (16) field (power, independence, curiosity, recognition, System savings and sincerity, idealism, relationships Questions, prestige, revenge, romance, and physical nutrition (calm), .

It has achieved the apparent reliability and structural, while the inconsistence has been extracted by the methods of re-test and Fakronibakh.

After applying the research tool on a sample of (400) students, the current research has concluded that the preparatory stage students are characterized with Character patterns according to Rice theory, and the absence of significant differences in personality patterns according to sex (males and females), and specialization (scientific, literary), and in the light of the results of the researchers came up with some recommendations and suggestions.
