Abstract EN

The purpose of the research is to know the effectiveness of teaching in the TRIZ theory compared to the traditional method of achievement and motivation for the second grade students in the field of biology.

The students of the second intermediate grade of Baghdad / Al-Rusafa third year of the academic year 2015-2016 determine the first four chapters of the first semester of the book Biology For the second grade average.

The research sample was 60 students with 30 students and 30 students.

The students were excluded statistically to ensure equivalence because they had more experience than their new colleagues.

To verify the equivalence of the research groups, The following variables were obtained: the achievement in the first intermediate biology, the previous information, the intelligence, the test of the tribal motivation.

As for the research tools, the researcher prepared a computational test in the field of biology, consisting of (50) multiple choice of four alternatives according to map A test (specification table) Virtual honesty has been verified Content Validation As for the measure of motivation, the researcher adopted the scale prepared by (Rikabi, 2010) for its relevance to the Iraqi environment, the second intermediate stage, as well as the opinion of experts to adopt it, and be of (35) paragraph (positive and negative) after verifying its validity And stability.

After the completion of the experiment, the statistical data was processed using the appropriate statistical means.

The study concluded that the teaching of biology by employing the TRIZ theory led to the superiority of the experimental group students to the students of the control group in the achievement and motivation of the subject of biology.
