In order to achieve these objectives, a sample of teachers from the Baghdad Education Directorate (400) was selected, distributed among (6) directorates for the 2017-2018 academic year.

They were chosen randomly and in a proportionate manner.

The emotional extortion scale was based on the 1997 Foreward definition, ).

In addition, the two measures were based on three categories.

The researchers also constructed the measure of personal responsibility based on the definition of the 1999 class.

After extracting the psychometric characteristics of the two measures, the emotional extortion scale in the final form is 30 words.

The results showed that there were statistically significant differences in emotional blackmail according to the sex variable and for the males, but no differences were found in the study sample.
