Abstract EN

This study aims at identifying the relationship between incentives and job satisfaction from the viewpoint of the staff members of the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Diyala and to achieve the objectives of this research paper, the research community includes 120 male and female employees and the research sample reached to 60 male and female employees as they were randomly selected.

The researchers adopted analytical-descriptive approach in th is research paper for being convenient to the theme and objectives of this study.

The researchers have found in their study the significance of activating the incentive system due to its critical importance to achieve the job satisfaction of staff members by satisfying their personal and career needs and desires through providing material and moral incentives and boosting employee morale.

Furthermore, the researchers have recommended in this study the need to balance the application between material and moral incentives and not to focus on one side and neglect the other.

In addition to that, this study proposes the importance of establishing new administrative units such as the section of management control and business incubators in educational institutions to follow up the course of work and provide new staff members with necessary guidance and advices in order to have creative human resources and to serve and improve the pedagogical and educational process
