Abstract EN
This study aims to measure the success of distance programmes for teachers of Arabic language to non-Arabic speakers by exploring the views of the three parties included in this process: the institution, trainers and trainees.
The study adopted two methods of assessment: Forms and Methodological frameworks.
The results showed that the success of distance training programmes provided by Arabic for All was moderately positive, indicating the success of these programmes while they still required more development.
The study was concluded with a number of recommendations that would contribute to the improvement of these programs in the future.
Some key recommendations included: the redistribution of the programme content to fit its length and contact hours; considering what is suitable for presentation through distance learning, especially in the practical aspect, which may need to be reconstructed to meet the needs of the trainees in these programs; qualifying trainers through training and workshops; emphasizing the technical aspects and finding appropriate solutions to technical problems, and qualify trainers to deal with them.
