Abstract EN

This piece of research investigates the old critical text in the Arabic language program in high school.

It aims to contribute to the efforts that seek to develop this program and to renew it to be at the level of the aspirations of the Moroccan school.

What are the critical issues evoked in this program? What problems does the teaching of the old critical text face? Have the conditions of its didactic transfer been respected? How can it be developed and renewed? The study concluded that the critical text currently adopted in high school does not take into account the requirements of its appropriate didactic transfer.

Also, it appears that there is no gradation when transferring it didactically.

In addition to that, the suggested critical texts were distorted which makes them much more complicated.

Last but least, the way the critical texts are approached has got so many lapses.

This increased their levels of ambiguity and difficulty when learning them.

The study ended with suggestions and recommendations.
