The rumor is a psychological phenomenon of social communication between people, it is working to reduce the morale of members of society or raise, and uncovering the facts or falsification, through the communication, especially if it is accurately formulated and if broadcast in a timely manner and if accompanied by modern methods.
Rumors spread in all areas of life, ranging from daily spontaneous life to the most complex and complex stages.
They became the focus of countries' attention to war and peace and became an important field of psychological and social sciences.
The importance of the current study lies in addressing a vital and important topic of educational counselors in the sector which is the most important among all sectors of society, namely education and teaching.
The current study adopts the trend towards rumors of the researcher herself, which was prepared and applied in her dissertation entitled "The trend towardrumors and its relation to emotional contagion and the five major factors of the personality of the educational counselors." The scale consists of (24) items which are statistically analyzed and validated.
