This study deals with the subject of "political alienation" within the recent studies in the field of political communication, where many researchers in various countries in the world and in particular the United States of America address the importance of it as an ego phenomenon experienced by many communities in the world.

In this study, we tried to approach this subject (theoretical political alienation) in theory by addressing the conceptual approach as well as the dimensions of this phenomenon, its causes and effects, in addition to presenting some theories that explain it.

The purpose of this study is to provide a theoretical survey of the subject in order to contribute and supporting the scientific literature.
