Abstract EN

The aim of the current research is to test the effectiveness of an educational program in developing emotional empathy for a sample of middle school students in the city of Kirkuk.

The research sample consisted of (80) students distributed into (4) groups (2) experimental and (2) control, for a period of (5) weeks, and to achieve the goal of the research, the researcher prepared a tool to measure emotional empathy, in addition to building an educational program in developing emotional empathy.

And by using multiple statistical methods that include the statistical bag (SPSS), the results of the research showed that there are statistically significant differences in the emotional empathy of the experimental group and the control group and in favor of the members of the experimental group.

In light of the results, a number of recommendations and proposals were formulated.

Among the recommendations, the curriculum includes topics and positions for developing emotional empathy and holding seminars and training courses to emphasize emotional sympathy.

Among the proposals is to conduct a study on emotional empathy.
