Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between recreational culture and optimism among a sample of university students in the white university center, where the number of the sample (580 students) was the third year of the university.

The results showed that the level of recreational culture and optimism among university students is higher than the average of society, and there is a significant correlation between recreational culture and optimism.

The researcher recommended that the university administration should take care of the recreation activities as it contributes to the development of the recreational culture among the students.

The content of the recreational programs and activities should be according to the needs and wishes of the students so that the students will have an interest and participation in the activity.
