Abstract EN
The aim of this study was to identify the cognitive outcomes in the physiology of training and physical fitness in the teachers of physical education in the mathematical institutes in the Kurdistan region, and then to identify the cognitive outcome among teachers according to the variable number of years of experience and qualification.
The study sample consisted of (40) physical education teachers in the Physical Education Institutes, which were randomly selected during the first semester of 2015-2016.
The researcher uses the cognitive test as a tool for collecting study data.
This test may be of two axes, one for physiology of sports training and the other for physical fitness.
The arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and single-variance analysis were used to interpret the data.
The researcher concluded that the educational outcomes of the teachers of physical education in the sports institutes in the physiology of sports training were at a weak level and in the field of physical fitness were at the intermediate level.
The results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences in the cognitive outcome of the sample according to the variable number of years' Experience in teaching and qualification.
In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended the need to focus on training courses for teachers of sports education, and the need to educate teachers about the importance of knowledge of what is new and modern in the field of science related to the profession of physical education.
