Abstract EN

This study aims at shedding light on the nature of the sustainable finance that aims at boosting the shift towards the green economy and treating climate change in addition to increasing environmental awareness and merging the sustainability in the financial sector.

Moreover, we try to show its most important strategies and mechanisms and the status-quo of investment in renewable energies and its importance in boosting sustainable finance using the analytical method and the various statistical data issued by IAEA and Renewable Energy Guide, and energy efficiency in Arab countries.

Furthermore, we make the necessary analyses and explanations.

Findings show that investment in renewable energies attracts a considerable rate of sustainable finance returns and is the first way to reach its objectives.

In addition, the UAE experience has been tackled as it is a model in this domain; we examined the possibility of taking advantage of it in developing the emerging Algerian experience
