Abstract EN

The aim of this paper is to investigate the essence of the relationship between civil society and the issue of ethics.

Civil society, which refers to all nongovernmental organisations that are characterized by voluntary and charitable activity within a society, such as trade unions, charities, political parties, and media organizations, is expected to have some commitment to ethics, values, and behaviors, whether as guiding ideals or as goals to accomplish and instill in society and state institutions.

It is concluded at the end of this analysis that the relationship between civil society and the issue of ethics is inextricably linked, evidently on two sides.

First, civil society should be founded under the guise of universal principles, which are the foundation of its existence and sovereignty.

Second, the aim of civil society is to incorporate universal values into social circles and government institutions.
