The text entitled ''Zaman Al Akhtaa'' by Muhammad Shukri is an indicator sign in writing biographies in modern Arabic literature, which reveals a great boldness in introspecting the self and exploring its mysteries, transcending it to expose the objective reality that pushed it - with other selves that intersect with it - in the paths of psychological and social vulgarity and distortion.

The alternation of the text between the autobiographical data of the writer and the narrative fiction, is what made it possible to overcome the defect of the private individual experience, to express more general and comprehensive human experiences.
