Abstract EN

Individual differences are among the issues that characterize the teaching-learning process, which makes the classroom a combination of learners whose abilities, skills, and ability to acquire education vary.

These differences begin to affect the performance of the teacher, especially at the middle school level; which is an important and sensitive stage concurring with the learner's adolescence.

Physical growth dominates mental growth, and any disregard or negligence towards these differences on the part of the teacher, who is often ignorant of their fields, affects negatively on the learner's academic achievement.

Therefore, this study attempts to clarify these differences, with the aim of reaching a definition of their basic dimensions, restricting them exclusively to clear their causes and tracing their manifestations, and then determining their effects on academic achievement, before proposing educational procedures that the teacher should perform in the classroom so as to alleviate the severity of these differences and thus reduce academic failure.
