Abstract EN

The study aims to know the foundations and mechanisms on which anthropological analysis is based through the theory of mediation, and to place oneself at the limits of theory and how to apply it to texts, and the extent of its effectiveness in revealing human reality, and this in the context of the study conducted by Idris Naquri, who used the theory of mediation to analyze the history of Joseph.

The application of the theory resulted in mediation being based on three elements: the subject, the object, and the mediator, and what unites them is the presence of desire and will, and in Joseph's history it varied between the will of God and the will of the parents, in a positive and negative mediation.
