In this paper, we deal with the modernist concept of "intertextuality" by "Al-Rafi'i", one of the most important writers who influenced the literary arena with their creativity and commitment to heritage, Islamic conception of art, poetry and prose.

Let's try to navigate in his literature through his book “Inspiration of the pen” and precisely the story of “His little girl” to extract its various intertextualities, and show that Al-Rafi'i is a skilled writer who masters the techniques of intertextuality.

Thus he is one of the genuine writers who were able to protect the heritage and preserve the art of performance.
