تأثير المستخلص الايثانولي لنوعين من البروبوليس في مكافحة عثة التين (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae)‎ Cadra Cautella (Walker)‎ على ثمار التمر المخزونة

Abstract EN

The study was conducted in the laboratories of the Department of Plant Protection, College of Agriculture, University of Basrah for the period from 1/3 2019 to 7/31/2019, the results showed that the ethanolic extract of propolis had an effect on the percentage of decay of the fig moth larvae Cadra cautella (Walker), which amount to 93.34% when treated with green and black propolis extracts at a concentration of 10% after one day of the treatment.

However, Propolis extracts did not effect of moth larvae after 7 days of the treatment for all of the three concentrations.

The results Also showed that the green and black propolis extracts had a repellant effect on the larva, The percentage of the repellants amount to 80% for the two extracts at a concentration 2.5% , While the percentage of repellant effect for the two other concentrations was 5% and 10 % for ethanolic extract of black propolis were - 60 and -80 % , respectively, and it amount to -60 and -100 % for ethanolic extract of green propolis, respectively, after 24 hours.

The two extracts decreased the insect number with a percentage of 78.37 and 83.74 % for green and black propolis extracts respectively.
