Abstract EN

The aesthetics of Sufi discourse— in its literary dimension, that is—lies in consisting of several features that make said discourse of a unique nature.

In this article, we attempt to review the most significant of these features, investigate the necessity for their use, and question the interpretability of the discourse itself.

This research demonstrates that Sufi discourse—poetry or prose— does not serve its literary or aesthetic purpose, or its literary taste, unless examined from the starting point of certain psychological and sociological principles and factors— historical and related to literary taste.

Not to mention, relying on the assistance of interpretation theories.

All for the sake of an innovative interpretation that makes Sufi discourse open and ever- renewing
