Our contribution aims to highlight the emerging relationship between the symbolic isotopy of colors and ecology in La Gloire de mon pere and Le Chateau de ma mere, by Marcel Pagnol.

It is the allegorical fallout of colors in the two novels that this article attempts to restore by highlighting their twists and turns in the ecological cause.

In order to be able to advance the author's unconscious commitment to the ecological cause, it would be advisable to promote the ecocritical approach as well as the lexical study of the corpus.
