The symbolic power of language realized in the French colonization context in Senegal what the military institutions could not.

The previously mentioned reality can be observed, in numerous colonization experiences, if we do consider the language as a tool that the colonization utilized to obliterate the social identities and reconstruct them during these experiences.

Genuinely, obliterating the collective selves of any society, and differently reconstructing them, requires a serious solicitude for the collective memory.

To look out a memory, implicitly, comprises the language that they indoctrinate the colonies; and that is because, it considered the container of the memory's substance itself.

Furthermore, looking out a language will at the same time represent another way of looking out the culture.

Based on the above-mentioned veracities, this article aims to discuss, the necessity of intensely studying the trinity of culture, language, and memory, using the both holistic and comprehensive perspective of Taylor, and considering also the language expression; and that is because this last one carries a social cipher for the language community, and to be able to decrypt this encrypt through the social construction, and accurately comprehend the social act between the individuals, which will lead a more profound understanding of the memory, as the culture's treasure, that represents the successive links between the diverse generations of the society.

The act of deviating individuals from their social memory in Senegal can be substantiated, that the French colonization combated the traditional school that had been already there.

Therefore, the strategy the foreign French authority used to demolish the Senegal social memory, and restructure it, was to impose the Senegalese its language that was adopted in both the administration, and education.
