Abstract EN

This research trie to highlight the real value of the traditional textile activity in ain sefra region wich qualifies with a number of factors gathered in human and natural resources for the purpose to revive and revitalize it as new activity and for employment as fruitful sector through supporting the artisans by increasing their incomes and reducing poverty by proving jobs even with a small proportion.

also this paper attempts to reveal the overlapped element contained in the textile activity and its association with pastoral activity under the expectations on ksour which currently known by the ornated textiles rich with symbols and forms as an extension of the cultural matirials derived from the popular heritage and from the local environment and ethnical authenticity.

Ain Sefra region has witnessing a period of change phase on a large scale, which led to a transformation at the level of the value systems and the life style.

This change affected the cultural system as well.

The culture of a society is not immune to change and transformation.
