The study aims to identify the directorial vision of visual performances, a comparative study between theater and television in Kuwait, and to know the relationship between television directing and theater directing, and to determine the effect of variables on their estimates of the directorial vision of visual performances, this study belongs to a group of qualitative studies aimed at increasing and deepening our understanding of the relationship between directing Theater and television, and focus groups were used as a tool to collect data from filmmakers, and the study reached a set of results, most notably that the directorial vision in the art of theatrical performance depends entirely on the concept of direct reception by the show makers and the audience, while the visual vision of television is an inserted and imposed vision On the recipient, and that the tools of the theater director are the same as the tools of the television director, what distinguishes theater directing is the direct reaction of the audience, where the director touches satisfaction in the face of the audience, unlike other media where the audience's reaction is indirect.

Theatrical directing also requires an able director to transform the written text into a vibrant show on stage.
