Abstract EN

The Berber culture constituted a distinct cultural heritage and a basic tributary of the tributaries of the Maghreb, but despite that, it remained on the sidelines of the concerns of historians who did not give it the necessary attention, which reduced the area of its presence within the historical Maghreb school.

This space which cannot in any way accommodate the major problems underlying the long and complex history of these human formations, in addition to that the few studies that have taken care of these societies have been coordinated, whether intentionally or unintentionally, behind a set of foreign perceptions that affixed the individual The Amazigh are a group of charges such as the tendency to rebel and attach to martial law at the expense of legitimacy.

How true are these accusations? Did the Amazigh people really tend to work on customary laws more than their tendency to legal laws? And if so, what is the difference between customary and legal laws? Are customary laws not considered an extension of legitimacy? Then, how true or false is the perception that the Berbers perceive their tendency to be misleading? If so, then how do we explain the existence of local social organizations within their societies?
