The conflict between the Western and Islamic civilizations is one of the most controversial ideas among the intellectual circles in recent decades.

In this research, we will try to study the impact of the conflict on the spread of terrorism and extremism in the Islamic world, with a focus on the Iraqi situation, and the research will address many axes, namely the backgrounds of Western hostility to Islam, the intellectual bases of the clash of civilizations theory and its impact on anti-Islamic religion, as well on the impact of the conflict on the spread of violence and extremism in Iraq.
