Abstract EN

This article aims to study Singapore's experience in attracting foreign direct investment, by shedding light on the main factors and determinants adopted in this, represented in economic freedom and the policy of tax incentives, as well as the development of the human factor, which was considered as a cornerstone of the achieved inflows of foreign direct investment In Singapore.

The study inferred from the above by tracking the quantitative development of foreign direct investment and its relative importance to the gross domestic product as well as the total capital formation for the period (1979-2018).

Through the studied indicators, we concluded that foreign investments in Singapore have undergone tremendous developments since the end of the seventies.

A clear contribution to the formation and development of fixed capital, which in turn contributes to raising the gross domestic product.
