Abstract EN

The present paper was written with the aim of clarifying a methodology for translating technical texts.

We relied on the approach suggested by "Christine Durieux" with the objective of highlighting the basic steps a translator needs to follow in order to tackle the difficulties of translating technical texts.

This methodology facilitates the task of the translator, enables him overcome the obstacles that may complicate the process of translating and hence guides him/her to produce an adequate technical translation.
