Abstract EN

This study aims to develop a conceptual approach to the phenomenon of job deviation among public officials in Algerian public administrations, and this is from a socio-organizational perspective, as it is an attempt to describe and define the concept of job deviation and its characteristics, then highlight its most important manifestations in detail, leading to the development of mechanisms to address this phenomenon, Within the scope of the Algerian civil service system.

As we concluded in the end, that despite the existence of a large number of policies and regulations in place to confront the phenomenon of functional deviation, this phenomenon almost eliminated all the elements of administrative work at the level of public institutions and administrations, due to the latter's inability to treat this phenomenon, which required creating Multiple effective methods and means that combine social and administrative approaches to treating functional deviation.
