Abstract EN

The research aims to contribute to the manifestation of the critical dimension in Islamic jurisprudence, especially in the field of fatwas and calamities.

To achieve this goal, the researcher chose a unique Nawazili jurisprudential text that has links to major historical and social events, which is the fatwa of Imam Al-Wanchrisi ( Asna-Almatajir).

The researcher focused on extracting the critical rules used in Al-Wansherissi's answer to the calamity, taking into account the text of his speech and relying on the descriptive and analytical method in the synthesis of the study.
