Throughout the ages, women have sufferedfrom the scourge of wars and have been subjected to the ugliestforms of humiliation, abuse and inhumantreatment.

Armed conflicts have witnessed various types of attacks and violations againstwomen in various stages, and these violations are still being committed in front of the international community, and despite the factthatmany international efforts have been made to develop End these violations, denouncethem and punish their perpetrators, but they are systematically and systematicallyagainstthem, until the images of sexual violence have become a weapon of weaponsthat are used by the parties to the conflict in order to terrorizesome of them, terrorize civilians and harm the demographics in areas of armedconflict.

The topic of this research in the period of armedconflictincludes protection in the field of health care, families, detention and sexual violence, with reference to the role of the international criminal judiciary in combating violations againstwomen.
