The competitiveness of the Algerian banking sector depends not only on its size and financial capital, but also on its strategy, which requires adapting to its environment and thus taking advantage of the opportunities and finding solutions to the challenges it faces, and probably the best way to increase performance is to benefit from the experiences of some countries in this area and Malaysia is one of those countries that stands out for its modernity, of its banking system and the nature of the majority of its Muslim people, which approaches the demands of Algerian customers, and in this regard, we seek through our study to value the most important factors of success of the Malaysian banking system and to take advantage of this experience to propose the requirements of the success of Algerian banks in order to develop and grow at the level of global banks.

, and using the descriptive and analytical approach, we have come to the conclusion that the secret to the success of Malaysia's banking development is the adoption of a clear strategy with discernible objectives and political will, as it focused on the knowledge economy and the development of human resources.
