This study aims to highlight the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic on the Algerian economy by focusing on some economic sectors.

The study found that the Algerian economy's heavy dependence on the hydrocarbon sector made it more sensitive to oil price shocks, hydrocarbon exports declined with the onset of the pandemic, which led to a widening of the trade balance deficit, in addition, the procedures for suspending flights to and from Algeria have had a negative impact on the revenues of the tourism sector and on economic mobility.

As for the enterprise sector, large national companies in addition to SMEs recorded a sharp drop in income due to the drop in demand and the series of preventive measures taken by the government to limit the spread of the epidemic.
