This research paper includes talk about humanitarian intervention, which is the method that the international community has resorted to, especially in recent years, in order to adopt it as a mechanism for the protection of human rights, as the humanitarian intervention became more used after the cold war due to the changes in the international system, and the spread of the phenomenon of conflict, which prompted the united nations to adopt humanitarian intervention, especially by the security council, which adopted it in many conflict such as the conflict in Iraq, but this exception to the principle non-interference in the internal affairs of countries, although it was aimed at protecting human rights, but changing the desired objectives made it increase the suffering of civilians in the countries in conflict, because of the emergence of several forms of interference in the internal affairs of countries under the name of humanitarian intervention in order to protect human rights.
