The issue of energy security is considered one of the main issues that occupy global opinion, especially in light of the increase in energy directed to the reasons for economic development on the other hand, the world's dependence on depleted energy sources is no longer sufficient to satisfy the increasing demand for energy, so we note international efforts to diversify and invest in energy known as energies For its part, Algeria, like other countries, gave great importance to renewable energies, which was embodied in the launch of ambitious programs to develop them, mainly represented in the national program for renewable energies for the period between 2011-2030, and therefore the aim of the study was to discover the energy approach in Algeria, and then analyze the most important resources available.

It is the most important and prominent navigator of the national program for renewable energies, which highlights the importance of this issue, which lies in the extent of the Algerian government's awareness of the need for energy change and facing challenges in achieving and maintaining its energy security.
