Given the ever-increasing use of economic sanctions by the Security Council in its repressive or deterrent policies as punitive, this has become a matter of many problems, particularly the serious humanitarian implications of these sanctions on the peoples of the target countries, especially vulnerable groups such as children, who are the most vulnerable and targeted human groups under economic sanctions, so through this article we have sought to reveal the effects of international economic sanctions on children's rights guaranteed under the International Bill of Human Rights and Research.

In the legitimacy of these sanctions and the extent to which they are considered to amount to the crime of genocide, it is important to examine the legal framework within which economic sanctions can be imposed, and the legal and humanitarian limits for their imposition.
