Abstract EN

The present research deals with the dichotomy of (the poet and self).

The poetic self is the creator of hope and optimism since it is an important part of in the formation of this self.

Thud, the poetic text is only the poet's production that reflects his subjective character such as irritations and emotions whether these are positive, when representing hope, or negative standing for hopelessness.

Accordingly, the importance of this research lies in choice of the era of Beni Al Ahmar and their connection to the selves resulting in the discussion of the dichotomy (hope and self).
