Clear from the events, the situation was the official and popular of the United States was a position supportive and in favor of the French Revolution, and this is quite normal, especially if there are similarities and the convergence of many between revolutions of America in 1774 and the French Revolution in 1789 that they the republican system and placed a basis for a democratic political system based on and representation, and put each of them a constitution that preserves the citizen freedom and dignity, but the policy of violence and cruelty followed by the Jacobins, and to try the rebels to export their revolution to Europe prompted the rulers of Europe to the Alliance for the Elimination of, especially after the death of King Louis and his wife Marie Antoinette.

To make matters complicated France declared war on Great Britain, all of these factors made the position of President Washington, the U.S.
