Abstract EN

With the help of scholars' opinions, mainly those of language and exegesis, this research paper attempts to examine the deviation on the level of gender in discourse between femininity and masculinity in the Holy Quran, and to make use of language rules that allow this language phenomenon so as to arrive at the explicatory significance that helps to the utmost possible the understanding of the Quranic texts; for gender deviation represents a peculiar language phenomenon that is instrumental in the semantic development of the creative language.

The paper relies on working out a semantic approach on the way of a contrast between exegetes who proceed from the textual signification of the Quranic suras and the reasons for their descendence and language practitioners who look upon gender deviation as a language phenomenon which may potentially represent a language example that may be added to the rules of Arabic.

The balance has ultimately been tipped to language rules in the sense that they exercise their predominance on interpretation and explicatory signification of the Quranic texts.

It is, further, revealed that the grammatical and morphological rules represent the best possible way to arrive at the explication aspects where a deviation has occurred in the language of discourse.

Dialects of Arabic, however, have their due role to play in coining some lexical items which designate the masculine whilst some may have thought that they are of lexical items designating the feminine.

Differences in dialects have widened the scope of induction inference and exegesis whereby the Holy Quran has not been left as no more than lexical items coming out from the space of the dictionary is the space of Holy Quran.

Rather, they represent density in language, and help carve rhetorical images that Arabs next to them are left helpless to match.
