Abstract EN

This study deals with the reality of industrial enterprises in Algeria in an attempt to highlight their position in relation to the national economy, the problems they suffer from, and the most important challenges facing the development of this sector and its contribution to development, by clarifying the most important characteristics of the Algerian industrial sector and its performance.

The study concluded that the industrial sector continues to suffer from stagnation and shortages at its various levels and is characterized by fragility and weak ability to compete despite the efforts made by the state to develop it, which confirms the need to continue economic reforms in order to be able to contribute more effectively to the state's economic development.
