The current research aims to: 1.
Measuring creative teaching skills for middle school teachers and teachers.
2.
Measuring the level of cognitive flexibility for middle school teachers and teachers.
3.
Exposing the relationship between creative teaching and cognitive flexibility among middle school teachers and teachers.
To achieve the goals of the research, the researcher adopted a measure of creative teaching skills for (Habib, 2014) and a measure of cognitive flexibility for (Al-Saadi, 2015), and for the two measures to be appropriate to apply them to the current research sample and know if they need to make some adjustments to them the researcher extracted their standard characteristics ( Psychometric), honesty and consistency.
The researcher applied the two research tools together, the scale of (creative teaching skills) and the scale (cognitive flexibility) to the basic sample population of (206) teachers and schools chosen in a simple random way, in the period from 1-10-2015 to 18/11/2015 The researcher reached the following results:The middle school teachers and their teachers do not have the skills of creative teaching.
The low level of cognitive flexibility for middle school teachers and teachers.
There is a relationship between creative teaching and cognitive flexibility.
The higher the level of creative teaching, the greater the level of cognitive flexibility, and vice versa.
In the light of the results of the research, the researcher concluded a number of conclusions and came up with a number of recommendations and proposals.
