Beyond reading comprehension is linked to a set of cognitive, psychological processes that help understand readable texts, such as working memory whose function is to retrieve the individual's past experiences that have been stored by retrieving the information and knowledge that have already been learned and employed in understanding the language, and reading sentences, paragraphs and stories, as well as linking it to language intelligence skills that help to master the readable language according to the rules and contexts of meaning in the sentence, Thus the goal of the current research is to know: 1- Beyond reading comprehension in adults depending on the variables (age, and gender).

2- The statistical differences beyond reading comprehension in adults are indicative of the variables (age, and gender).

3- The efficiency of working memory in adults depending on the variables (age, and gender).

4- The indication of statistical differences in working memory in adults according to the variables (age, and gender).

The relationship between the reading comprehension and the efficiency of working memory in adults is indicative.

To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher adopted a measure beyond the reading comprehenstion of Moorzaubrucky,1997), which consists of (22) items with a five-point gradient spread over seven dimensions: Anxiety, Achievement, Strategy, Capacity, Task, control center, and Regulation.

To measure the working memory, the researcher adopted the Working Memory Test for (Mashhadany, 2015), which consists of (42) items distributed over four areas: 1.Visual dimension: consists of (17) items 2.

Audio dimension: consists of (13) items 3.Central port field: consists of (6) items 4.

The field of accidental insulation: consists of (6) items, and the test items are presented with a computerized program (PowerPoint) to take the item not more than20) seconds and to be retrieved at the same time, and give one score for each (letter, number, word,) whether visible or audible, and 8) With a theoretical average (129) degrees.

scale, and the apparent validity and the reliability of the construction, and then the researcher verified the reliability of each scale using the alpha-Kronbach equation, as the value of the reliability coefficient of the measure beyond the reading comprehension (0.81) which is Good reliability factor.

To test working memory and its components (visual, auditory, central port, and by-insulation) (0.79 - 0.78, 0.83, 0.80) respectively, were then applied to the research sample of 400 individuals, of whom 200 were males and 200 females divided into age groups (20-25) (30-35) (40-45) (50-55) (60-65) years while the variable efficiency of working memory and linguistic intelligence has a significant impact on beyond the reading comprehension and this is what is shown through the contribution ratios.

Based on the findings, the researcher reached a number of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions.
