The study aimed to prepare, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of an informative program to improve awareness of the advantages and disadvantages of cooking utensils for female youth getting married and housewife’s The data was completed through the application of research tools, and it was applied to a basic sample of (250) girls getting married and housewife’s, and the experimental sample was (36) girls getting married and housewife’s, and the study followed the descriptive, analytical and experimental approach.

One of the most important results of the study: the majority of the research sample by 22.4% preferred to use aluminum utensils in the first place, followed by granite by 17.6%, while 8.8% preferred to use both glass and ceramics, as shown by The study found that there were no statistically significant differences between the research sample and both the level of awareness of the advantages and disadvantages of cooking utensils made from "pottery, aluminum, iron sheet, Teflon, glass, granite", as well as the absence of differences between the main research sample in the total score of the questionnaire axes The level of awareness of the advantages and disadvantages of cooking utensils, as well as the lack of statistically significant differences in the level of awareness of the advantages and disadvantages of cooking utensils and the average monthly income at the level of 0.01, as well as the existence of statistical function differences at the level of 0.01 in the level of awareness of the experimental research sample of the advantages and disadvantages of cooking pots before and after the application of the extension program.
