The present research aimed to identify the impact of the strategy (C.S.R), in the development of reading comprehension skills, in the fourth grade literary students.
The research sample consisted of the fourth grade literary students in Al-Ameen Preparatory School for Boys, in the city of Mosul, for the academic year (2018-2019).
It was chosen intentionally, with a total of 81 students.
The sample of the experimental group consisted of (40) students, who studied according to the strategy (C.S.R) and the control group sample (41) students, studied in the usual way.
To achieve the research objective, a test was developed to develop the reading comprehension skills of the fourth grade literary students in reading material.
The final test consists of (20) items of the type of multi-choice quadrant alternatives.
After the preparation of teaching plans, the research experiment was carried out by teachers of Arabic language in the second course of the academic year (2018-2019) on (3/3/2019) and continued a full course, and a test was applied after (2/5/2019).
Data were treated statistically by t-test for two independent samples.
The result was that the experimental group studied by the C.S.R
