This article deals with two important methodes in research and ijtihad in jurisprudence and principles, and how we can benefit from them in the formation of the researcher and the advancement of scientific research.

We say that the 'Ijtihad methods ' varied between the “tradition method”, that represented in the “jurisprudential altakhrij ” and the “renewal method; They are two complementary methods.

A renewed in jurisprudence and fundamentals cannot reach to this rank without being a mujtahid who knows the origins and branches of a certain doctrine of jurisprudence, and is able to derive jurisprudential rulings in the manner of the owner of the doctrine.
